The emulsion system is composed of non-ionogenous emulsifier and polyvinyl alcohol acting as protective colloid. An aqueous white-colored dispersion with a characteristic odour. It is non-toxic, non-combustible, inexplosive, biodegradable, posing no health or hygienic hazards. The dispersion film is transparent, flexibel and mildly adhesive. Duvilax® KA-11 is used in the manufacture of coating compositions and plastering materials and as an additive of polymer-cement mortars, concrete and other building materials acting as a plasticizing component. It is suitable for penetration of the highly absorptive ground. In textile industry it is used in chemical splicing of floor coverings as well as flushing pastes preparation for carpets. The dispersion is suitable for the modified dispersed adhesives manufacture. Aqueous, white-colored, non-toxic, non-combustible, inexplosive, biodegradable copolymeric vinyl acetate dispersion.
