It is composed of dimeric resin acids, monomeric resin acids, and resinous neutral components. DYMEREX A700 modified resin has good resistance to oxidation and does not crystallize from solutions or from solid compositions. It is compatible with most natural and synthetic waxes, film formers, and rubbers. Its stability, low melt viscosity, and tack properties at elevated temperatures make DYMEREX A700 modified resin particularly suitable for hot melt adhesives. Dymerex A700 modified resin has a high melting point; is noncrystalline and resistant to oxidation; and has tack at elevated temperatures. Compatible at all ratios, or in limited but practically useful proportions, with most natural resins and rubber, paraffin and microcrystalline waxes, and various synthetic elastomers and thermoplastic polymers and copolymers. Soluble in esters, ketones, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, and chlorinated solvents. Limited solubility in alcohols. Insoluble in water. Modified, acidic, thermoplastic, high softening point resin. Composed of dimeric resin acids, monomeric resin acids, and resinous neutral components. Used for hot melt adhesives. Possesses good resistance to oxidation and does not crystallize from solutions or from solid compositions. Offers stability, low melt viscosity, and tack properties at elevated temperatures. Compatible with most natural and synthetic waxes, film formers, and rubbers. Compatible at all ratios, or in limited but practically useful proportions, with most natural resins and rubber, paraffin and microcrystalline waxes, and various synthetic elastomers and thermoplastic polymers and copolymers.
