Gelling and thickening agent for aqueous systems. Provides reproducible thixotropic viscosity. Eliminates hard settling of solids. Generates full color development from suspended pigments. Reinforces through unique gel lattice structure. COSMETICS Creams and lotions, roll-on antiperspirants, antiperspirant creams, facial masks Imparts lubricating properties, emulsion stabilization and thermostable viscosity. CERAMICS Ceramic frit suspending agent Assists in emulsion stabilization of oil/water systems. Imparts higher reflectance and lower yellow color tones to porcelain enamels. INCORPORATION BENTONE MA additive should be incorporated using high shear or high speed mixers. For maximum efficiency, the dry BENTONE MA gellant should be added slowly to warm water and fully dispersed under constant agitation.
