Thixatrol VF-30 Elementis Rheology Modifiers / Thickeners Acrylics/ Acrylates Polyesters PU - Prepolymers ADHESIVE THIXATROL VF-30 is heat stable, seed resistant, 100% solids, liquid organic rheological additives designed for use in 100% NV and highsolids systems. It is not recommended for use in high aromatic content and/or unpigmented systems. Both Additives are associative and may be system dependent. We recommend an initial screening to determine their rheological activity in your system. THIXATROL VF-30 additive is suitable in many systems where only fumed silica is used, such as low VOC and 100% NV systems. THIXATROL VF-30 additive is recommended for reactive systems, both two pack and bake. Use levels are highly system dependent, and typically range from 0.3% to 0.8% by weight of the total system. Optimum levels will depend on the system. A loading ladder study is recommended.
