Chemigum P615-D Copolymer of butadiene-acrylonitrile partitioned with calcium carbonate Eliokem Rubber - Elastomer >> Butadiene-acrylonitrile / Nitrile rubber, NBR ADHESIVE >> Solvent based SEALANT SEALANT >> Pre-formed tape / Gasket The medium viscosity and linear structure of Chemigum P615-D elastomer make it particularly suitable for highly filled PVC compounds and for injection molding of both thin and thick sections. Chemigum P615-D enhances elasticity, resistance to abrasion-loss, flex fatigue, oil, fuels, animal fat and other organic & inorganic chemicals. By minimizing the lossof liquid monomeric plasticizers in PVC compounds due to migration, volatility and extraction, it extends their durability in: Footwear, uppers and soling for industrial boots, compact and micro-cellular soling of leisure shoes. Chemigum P615-D is also used as secondary binder to modify friction materials in combination with phenolic resins in semi-wet and wet (solvent-based) processes. Chemigum elastomers are compatible with many resins for various adhesive applications. They are resistant to swelling due to oil, gasoline and other non-polar solvents. Adhesives made with Chemigum elastomers work well when bounding substrates such as leather, felt, cork, wood, aluminium, steel and most plastics. Chemigum powdered elastomers are easy to handle and their powder form makes them easily and quickly dispersable in numerous systems The highly polar nature of Chemigum elastomers gives them desirable characteristics for many adhesive applications. Seals containing powdered Chemigum elastomers can be cured to high strength, particularly in combination with phenolic resin. They are also compatible with other resins such as resorcinol-formaldehyde, isocyanate and epoxy. Chemigum elastomers can be blended in various ratios with these resins to modify their properties and broaden their use in sealers Medium viscosity copolymer of butadiene-acrylonitrile partitioned with calcium carbonate. Can be used as secondary binder to modify friction materials in combination with phenolic resins. Possesses resistance to swelling. Offers compatibility with many resins for various adhesive applications. Provides bounding on substrates such as leather, felt, cork, wood, aluminium, steel and most plastics.
