Economical grades of Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPEs) can be tailor-made by blending in required amounts of the Chemigum powder with low cost plasticized PVC at the end of the dry-blending cycle. The TPEs provide high levels of properties - elongation, resistance to abrasion and flex-fatigue - and resist attack by oils, fuels and many other chemicals. By minimizing the loss of the liquid monomeric plasticizers of PVC due to migration, volatility and extraction, Chemigum P83 extends the life of the TPEs in: gaskets & weatherstripping for auto, appliance, building and industrial needs.
