Rubber - Elastomer (Chloroprene, Butyl …) ADHESIVE ASP® hydrous aluminosilicates Engelhard ASP hydrous aluminosilicates are used as extenders and additives in the coatings, inks, adhesives, plastics, rubber and paint industries. They are available in a wide range of grades (see below) and offer many performance benefits, including excellent titanium dioxide extension, improved color, gloss control, dispersion, stain resistance and enamel holdout. For example, in adhesive applications, ASP functional extenders improve and speed wet tack, increase viscosity, speed drying and reduce costs. In inks, ASP products improve color development and holdout to prevent strikethrough and reduce costs. ASP Ultrafine HD: lower cost, higher bulk density version of ASP Ultrafine; provides high gloss and good titanium dioxide extension in water-borne systems. Hydrous aluminosilicate. Possesses extremely fine particle size, premium brightness and high bulk density. Used as an extender and an additive in adhesives. Offers very good titanium dioxide extension, improved color, gloss control, dispersion, stain resistance and enamel holdout. Improves and speeds wet tack. Increases viscosity and speed drying. Provides high gloss.
