They are available in a wide range of grades (see below) and offer many performance benefits, including excellent titanium dioxide extension, improved color, gloss control, dispersion, stain resistance and enamel holdout. For example, in adhesive applications, ASP functional extenders improve and speed wet tack, increase viscosity, speed drying and reduce costs. In inks, ASP products improve color development and holdout to prevent strikethrough and reduce costs. CATALPO® : fine particle size, standard brightness grade with low residue and neutral pH; designed for use in rubber applications. Hydrous aluminosilicate. Possesses fine particle size, standard brightness, low residue and neutral pH. Used as an extender and an additive in adhesives.
