It not only increases tack and adhesive properties but can also modify the mechanical and optical properties of the polymer blend. Hydrocarbon resins specially developed for use in pressure sensitive adhesives, hot melt coatings and adhesives. Its main properties are : low level of unsaturation wide range of compatibility (EVA, amorphous PP, SIS) Escorez 1310 in combination with EVA, providing good stability and low melt viscosity, is suitable for carton sealing. In combination with SIS thermoplastic rubber, it is the tackifier of choice for good tack/ cohesion balance. In pressure sensitive applications, Escorez 1310 in combination with natural rubber is suitable for applications with high tack and reasonable shear requirements. Hydrocarbon resin.
