SEALANT ADHESIVE This aromatic modified aliphatic resin has enhanced compatibility with even more polar materials such as ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymers. The resin is also excellent tackifier for styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) and SBR-type rubbers. Escorez 2520 belongs to a family of resins containing both aliphatic and aromatic structures giving good compatibility with natural and most synthetic rubbers and with EVA copolymers. Its main characteristics are : liquid tackifier light colour good heat stability low volatility low glass transition temperature soluble in many solvents (excl. methanol and ethanol) Escorez 2520 is a liquid tackifier with light colour and a very low level of volatility. Its adhesive performance shows a very well balanced profile, based on its modified aliphatic structure with an unimodal molecular weight structure and a low molecular weight with narrow distribution. Particularly in combination with all SIS, SB(S) and SEBS block copolymers as well as isoprene rubbers, Escorez 2520 shows an enhanced compatibility due to its special composition.
