Winlex4120 is a disproportionated rosin ester for adhesives which has been stabilized to provide excellent heat and aging stability. Soluble in aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbon solvents(petroleum benzine, mineral spirit, benzene, ethyl acetate, acetone),esters, ketones and chlorinated solvents. Insoluble in alcohol and water. Compatible with Elastomers such as Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA)copolymers, styrene block copolymers, SBR, acrylics, natural rubber, hydrocarbon and terpene tackifying resins. Use in EVA, SBS,SIS , other hot melt adhesives, construction adhesives, rubber compounding, sealants, coatings and other applications. Disproportionated rosin ester. Possesses good polymer compatibility (EVA, styrene block copolymers, SBR, acrylics, natural rubber, hydrocarbon and terpene tackifying resins). Used as a tackifier in adhesives and sealants.
