OS-1000 is clear and almost colorless fluid with a typical smell (MEKO). The product readily hydrolyzes upon contact with moisture. The product is used as a crosslinker in the manufacturing of 1-part neutral cure silicone sealant. OS-1000 is often the main crosslinker of choice for oxime silicone sealants and can be used by itself or in combination with other oxime silanes to provide the sealant with targeted properties (such as desired cure rate, adhesion etc).
