The technology offers adhesive formulators an effective tool to tailor their product lines to meet the demands for high performance, moisture curable hot melt adhesives, providing a competitive advantage in industries spanning book binding to automotive. The reactive hot melts combine the benefits of thermoplastic hot melts with the crosslinkability of liquid reactive systems, providing customers with applications which strengthen rapidly without shrinkage, while offering outstanding resistance to the environment. The current product line for ‘Daltorez’ P consists of hydroxyl terminated polyesters, based on aliphatic raw materials. Due to the wide variety of raw materials available, the morphology of the polyesters offered varies from amorphous to highly crystalline.
