Jeffamine ED-2003 Polyoxyethylenediamine 65605-36-9 Huntsman Crosslinking / Coupling / Curing Agents >> Amines /Amides >> aliphatic Epoxy (EP) Polyamides (PA) ADHESIVE XTJ-502 (JEFFAMINE® ED-2003) is a watersoluble aliphatic diamine derived from a propylene oxide capped polyethylene glycol and with an approximate molecular weight of 2000. XTJ-502 is a white, waxy solid with a melting point of 40-45°C and is further characterized by high total and primary amine content, low color, and low vapor pressure. XTJ-502 is characterized by a higher mole % di-functionality and a higher degree of amination compared to the former JEFFAMINE ED-2001. The added hydrophilicity of the XTJ-502 has particular utility in the following applications: hydrophilic polymers antistatic agents epoxy modifiers textile treating water-based coatings water-soluble, water-dispersible, water-swellable polyamides water-soluble polyureas Watersoluble, low vapor pressure aliphatic diamine derived from a propylene oxide capped polyethylene glycol. Used in epoxy modifiers, water-soluble, water-dispersible and water-swellable polyamides and water-soluble polyureas.
