MIN-U-GEL® can be used alone or in conjunction with associative thickeners where a low shear thixotrope is needed to support the high shear thixotropy of the associative thickener. Used in asphalt cutback roof coatings & mastics, asphalt sealants and crack sealers and asphalt patching compounds. Hydrous magnesium aluminum silicate with gelling and rheological properties. Used to thicken and stabilize asphalt containing systems. Can be used alone or in conjunction with other fibrous and non-fibrous thickeners where a low shear thixotrope is needed. SiO2: 66.21 %. Al2O3: 11.71 %. MgO: 9.70 %.
