PoleStar 200R Anhydrous aluminium silicate Imerys Extenders / Fillers >> Kaolin Rheology Modifiers / Thickeners >> Mineral Polysulfides Silicones (Si) PU - Prepolymers Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) SEALANT >> Plastisol ADHESIVE Calcined kaolin. Used in panel adhesives, polyurethane adhesives for automotive, polysulfide and polyurethane sealants for construction, silicone and hybrid polymer sealants, PVC plastisols, and sealant tapes/strips (butyl/PIB). Provides rheology modification, increased hardness and low moisture pick-up. Calcined kaolin is an anhydrous alumlinium silicate produced by heating a fine natural china clay to high temperatures in a kiln. Increased hardness The low surface hydroxyl content of calcined clays leads to a low moisture pick-up, resulting in excellent performance in moisture sensitive sealant applications. PoleStar 200R rheology modification Application: panel adhesives, polyurethane adhesives for automotive, polysulfide sealants for construction, polyurethane sealants for construction, silicone sealants, hybrid polymer sealants, PVC plastisols, and sealant tapes/strips (butyl/PIB).
