Disparlon 6500 Polyamide wax Kusumoto Waxes & Paraffin Acrylics/ Acrylates Epoxy (EP) Silicones (Si) PU - Prepolymers SEALANT ADHESIVE DISPARLON 6500 is a strong thixotropic agent based on a polyamide wax and recommended for non-solvent as well as non-polar systems. Unlike hydrogenated castor wax products, 6500 permits incorporation at higher temperatures and functions as a strong anti-slumping agent without seeding. Excellent cost/performance 100 % active and can produce a strong thixotropic structure free from slumping. High production efficiency Permits incorporation on high speed grinding equipments at higher temperature without causing seeding, which is not allowed for hydrogenated castor wax products. No overnight standing required. Thixotropy with good heat resistance and stability on ageing. 6500 assures good shelf stability and does not cause seeding, nor loss of effect. 6500 is used in adhesives to prevent slumping due to high temperature. For sealant and adhesives 6500 is used in sealant such as Oil based, Urethane, Silicone and Thiokol etc. as anti-slumping agent and quite effective at higher temperature during application and thereafter. In Synthetic rubber, Epoxy, Acrylic/Cyanamide adhesives it prevents settling of extenders and prevents phase separation. When used in rubber adhesives for laminating decorative films to plywood panels, 6500 prevents the penetration of the adhesive into wood substrate without reducing initial bonding strength at heat pressing. For sealant and adhesives : 0.6 ~2.0 % by wt. of final formulation Strong thixotropic agent based on a polyamide wax. Used as a strong anti-slumping agent without seeding for non-solvent and non-polar systems such as oil based, urethane, silicone and thiokol sealants, synthetic rubber adhesives for laminating decorative films to plywood panels and epoxy and acrylic/cyanamide adhesives. Offers high production efficiency and thixotropy with good heat resistance and stability on ageing. Prevents settling of extenders and phase separation. Use level: 0.6-2.0%wt of final formulation.
