These highly cleaned fibres comply with our Roxul*1000 chemistry and are therefor very safe to work with. Rockseal* mineral fibres are specially engineered for industrial and automotive applications in Non-Asbestos Organic (NAO) gasket materials like compressed sheets. Fibre grades best suitable for compressed sheet applications are RS480-Roxul®1000 Rockseal ® RS480–Roxul ® 1000 is a low cost good dispersable fibre. Rockseal ® RS480–Roxul ® 1000 is designed for use in compressed sheets. It is possible to incorporate high amounts of these inorganic fibres and at the same time reduce the amount of (expensive) organic fibres, resulting in a gasket with lower hot compression set values and lower material costs.
