Lonzacure M-CDEA 4,4'-methylenebis-(3-chloro, 2,6-diethyl)-aniline 106246-33-7 Lonza Crosslinking / Coupling / Curing Agents >> Amines /Amides >> aromatic PU - Isocyanates Epoxy (EP) PU - Prepolymers ADHESIVE 4,4'-methylenebis-(3-chloro, 2,6-diethyl)-aniline. M-bis Anilines are a novel class of toxicologically friendly and easy to handle polyurethane chain extenders for advanced two component polyurethane cast and spray applications where extremely high thermomechanical, chemical and abrasion resistance are needed. As epoxy hardeners they provide improved use temperatures, moisture absorption and impact resistance. Areas of use are coatings, aerospace, automotive and the general industry. Lonzacure M-CDEA is an excellent chain extender for elastomeric polyurethanes (PU) and also a curing agent for epoxides (EP). It provides improved mechanical and dynamic properties which cannot be achieved with standard formulations. In addition it may be used as a precursor for polyimides and as an intermediate for organic syntheses. PU formulations based on Lonzacure M-CDEA are suitable for cast elastomers, RIM elastomers, coatings, adhesives, elastomeric foams and thermoplastic PU (TPU). In EP it is suitable for tooling, prepregs and chemical resistant coatings. Lonzacure M-CDEA is suitable for curing prepolymers containing aromatic or aliphatic isocyanates such as TDI, MDI, PPDI, NDI, TODI (aromatic prepolymers) or HDI, IPDI (aliphatic prepolymers). High and low pressure processing equipment can be used. Lonzacure M-CDEA can be melted or dissolved or dispersed in polyols. Either casting in moulds or ribbon-flow technology may be appropriate for hot curing. excellent dynamics, excellent temperature resistance, low water absorption, hydrolytic stability, light stability excellent chemical stability against acidic and basic reagents, high Tg (up to 230°C), not toxic, approved for food contact in EU No hazardous Substance Excellent Mechanical Properties Excellent Dynamic Performance - Low Heat Build Up Superior Hydrolytic Resistance Temperature Resistance up to 130 °C Good Light/Colour Stability Benzenamine. Used as a chain extender for elastomeric polyurethanes and as a curing agent for epoxides. Provides very good dynamics, temperature, chemical and abrasion resistance, low water absorption, and hydrolytic and light stability in polyurethanes. Offers moisture absorption, impact resistance and good chemical stability against acidic and basic reagents in epoxides.
