ARCOSOLV® DPMA has a low viscosity, making it a good viscosity control agent. It is a powerful solvent with a moderate evaporation rate and provides good coalescing ability. Applications ARCOSOLV® DPMA provides good solvency for a wide variety of resins including acrylic, epoxies, alkyds, and polyesters. Its limited water solubility in combination with the slow evaporation rate allows ARCOSOLV® DPMA to be used as a coalescent in waterborne emulsion systems.
