Scuranate T80 Mixture of 2,4-toluene diisocyanate and 2,6-toluene diisocyanate Lyondell PU - Isocyanates >> TDI, toluene diisocyanate ADHESIVE Scuranate T80 is a mixture of 80% 2,4-toluene diisocyanate and 20% 2,6-toluene diisocyanate. TDI is a toxic and reactive chemical which requires correct handling to ensure that it is used safely. This means avoiding inhalation, skin contact, or ingestion. In particular, inhalation of vapors, aerosols, and dust should be avoided, since this can lead to irritation and in extreme cases to a reduction of lung function and/or sensitization. Major applications for Scuranate T80 include polyurethane adhesives. Similar to TDI 80 – Type 1, Scuranate® T80 is produced at Lyondell’s Pont-de-Claix, France site. Major application uses include polyurethane flexible foam (slab/molding) and non-foam urethanes. Mixture of 2,4-toluene diisocyanate and 2,6-toluene diisocyanate. Used in polyurethane flexible foam (slab/molding) and non-foam urethanes such as adhesives.
