QUIDUR 246-06 improves the temperature stability and adhesion of adhesives to different materials. We recommend the addition of amounts between 3 and 5 % on the total formulation. After adding QUIDUR 246-06, the adhesive should be used within a given period of time, called " pot life ", which does not only depend on its polymer content, but on the other components of the adhesive. After this period, which is normally between several hours and a working-day, the adhesive becomes increasingly difficult to process, with a growing viscosity, leading eventually to an irreversible gelation.
