Especially designed to have an excellent compatibility with polyurethanes dispersions for the production of adhesives for the furniture, automotive and shoe industries. The use of QUIDUR® 444-20 as a crosslinking agent for PU dispersions (QUILASTIC® DISPERBOND®) allows to increase the heat resistance of the dispersions, as well as their resistance to water, plasticizers and some solvents. QUIDUR® 444-20 can be directly mixed with the dispersion, for crosslinking purposes. Usually, the quantities to be used vary between 2 and 5 % by weight of dispersion. Good crosslinking values can be obtained provided QUIDUR® 444-20 is uniformly distributed in the dispersion. No strong shearing equipment is needed, thanks to the low viscosity of QUIDUR® 444-20. Solvent-free aliphatic polyisocyanate. Used as a crosslinking agent for PU dispersions for the production of adhesives for the furniture, automotive and shoe industries.
