Hycar 1572 Carboxylated acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer Noveon Rubber - Elastomer >> Butadiene-acrylonitrile / Nitrile rubber, NBR SEALANT ADHESIVE Hycar 1572 is a carboxylated, heat reactive, medium acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer emulsion with a glass transition temperature (Tg) of -27ºC. Hycar nitrile emulsions are true colloids, having spherical particles ranging from 0.06 microns to 0.25 microns in diameter. When properly cured, nitrile rubber emulsions exhibit excellent resistance to solvents, fuels, oils and greases, are abrasion resistant, bond to a wide variety of substrates and exhibit a high degree of toughness. Good adhesion to a variety of substrates. Excellent chemical resistance. Toughness and abrasion resistance. Self-curing with heat. Carboxylated Resistant to solvents, fuels, oils and greases. May be cured through the use of ZnO2 or other metal salts Adhesives. Caulks and mastics. Hycar 1572 is an anionically stabilized 50% solids nitrile rubber emulsion. Hycar 1572 is not freeze-thaw stable. Carboxylated, heat reactive, anionically stabilized, medium acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer emulsion. True colloid having spherical particles. Used in adhesives, caulks and mastics. Offers very good resistance to fuels, solvents, oils and greases, good abrasion resistance and toughness. Provides good adhesion to a wide variety of substrates and good chemical resistance.
