Hycar 1572X64 Acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer Noveon Rubber - Elastomer >> Butadiene-acrylonitrile / Nitrile rubber, NBR SEALANT ADHESIVE Hycar 1572X64 is a heat reactive acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer emulsion with a glass transition temperature (Tg) of -30ºC. Hycar emulsions are true colloids, having spherical particles ranging from 0.06 microns to 0.25 microns in diameter. When properly cured, nitrile rubber emulsions exhibit excellent resistance to solvents, fuels, oils and greases. They possess a high degree of toughness, abrasion resistance, good resilience and adhesion to a variety of substrates. Good adhesion to a variety of substrates. Excellent chemical resistance. Toughness and abrasion resistance. Self-curing with heat. Resistant to solvents, fuels, oils and greases. Adhesives and coatings for a variety of substrates and end uses. Alloying with phenolic and epoxy resin emulsions for adhesive applications. Caulks and sealants. Hycar 1572X64 is a fatty acid stabilized 47% solids nitrile rubber emulsion. Hycar 1572 is not freeze-thaw stable. Heat reactive, fatty acid stabilized, heat reactive acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer emulsion. True colloid having spherical particles. Used in adhesives, caulks and sealants, and with phenolic and epoxy resin emulsions for adhesive applications. Offers very good resistance to fuels, solvents, oils and greases, good abrasion resistance and toughness. Provides good adhesion to a wide variety of substrates and good chemical resistance.
