Hycar ATBN 1300X45 Amine terminated butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer Noveon Rubber - Elastomer >> Butadiene-acrylonitrile / Nitrile rubber, NBR ADHESIVE Hycar Reactive Liquid Polymers (RLP's) are 100% solids liquid rubbers used to improve the toughness, flexibility, adhesion or impact resistance of thermoset resin systems including epoxies, vinyl esters, unsaturated polyesters, acrylics and urethanes. The RLP polymers are a family of butadiene homopolymers and butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymers with functionality at the chain ends. Functional groups are carboxyl (COOH), amine (NH or NH2), methacrylate or epoxy. The acrylonitrile content varies in these polymers from zero to 26% which directly affect the solubility and glass transition temperatures (Tg's) of the materials. ATBN 1300X45 is an amine terminated butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer used predominately with other amine functional compounds to improve product performance when added to thermoset resin systems. Enhances the Toughness/Flexibility of Thermoset Resins Improves Adhesion with Difficult to Bond Substrates Minimal Amount of Excess Amine Ideal for Chain Extending Epoxies Provides Hydrophobicity Increases Low Temperature Mechanical Properties Increases Impact/Crack Resistance Adhesives End uses include Automotive, Construction, Electrical and Industrial To ensure optimal product performance, store at room temperature or below. Butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer. Used for adhesives. Provides enhanced toughness/flexibility of thermoset resins and improves adhesion with difficult to bond substrates. Increases low temperature mechanical properties, impact/crack resistance and offers hydrophobicity.
