Oxy 6338 Vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate copolymer 9003-22-9 OxyChem Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) Polyvinyl acetate emulsions & derivatives (PVAcā¦) >> PVAc homopolymers ADHESIVE SEALANT OXY 6338 is a medium molecular weight vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate copolymer dispersion resin. It is designed for processing at low fusion temperatures. OXY 6338 has found wide acceptance in such applications as coatings for polyolefins and other heat sensitive fabrics, vinyl foams, dip coatings, spray coatings, rotational castings, slush molding, and specialty applications such as vinyl printing inks. OXY 6338 combines extremely low Brookfield paste viscosities with fast gelation-fusion characteristics. The low viscosity allows usage of higher concentrations of extender materials, i.e., blending resins and fillers. Low Fusion: Adhesives Sealants Inks Mechanical Foam Moldings Carpet Backings Low Fusion Low Brookfield and Severs Viscosity Excellent Viscosity Stability Medium molecular weight vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate copolymer dispersion resin. Used in low fusion adhesives and sealants. Offers very low Brookfield paste viscosity, fast gelation-fusion characteristics, low fusion and Severs viscosity and very good viscosity stability. Allows high concentrations of extender materials such as blending resins and fillers.
