Pacific 9271 Modified aliphatic amine Pacific Epoxy Polymers Crosslinking / Coupling / Curing Agents >> Amines /Amides >> aliphatic Epoxy (EP) Rubber - Elastomer (Chloroprene, Butyl …) ADHESIVE Low viscosity modified aliphatic amine which provides long pot life, and the ability upon post curing at moderate temperature, improved temperature performance. 9271 is a low viscosity modified aliphatic amine which provides long pot life, and the ability upon post curing at moderate temperatures, improved elevated temperature performance. Glass transition temperatures of 180-200°F can be obtained with post cures at 150-160°F when used in combination with 6126 liquid epoxy resin. 9271 is also recommended for use in ambient curing "two phase" toughened acrylonitrile butadiene rubber modified epoxy resin systems when improved elevated temperature performance after post cure is required . It provides improved peel strength in adhesive applications and higher impact strength in composites. 9271 is also recommended for filament winding and wet-layup impregnation operations because of the long pot life and low viscosity provided by this hardener in combination with liquid epoxy resin. Low viscosity, modified aliphatic amine. Used in ambient curing "two phase" toughened acrylonitrile butadiene rubber modified epoxy resin adhesives. Provides long pot life, ability upon post curing at moderate temperature, improved temperature performance, improved peel strength and high impact strength.
