Plextol D 224 n-butylacrylate PolymerLatex Acrylics/ Acrylates >> Butyl acrylate copolymers, BA ADHESIVE >> Hot-melt >> Pressure sensitive (HMPSA) PLEXTOL D 224 is an aqueous emulsion of a thermoplastic acrylic polymer. Used as a tackifier with hydrophobic character in adhesives. Film properties Evaporation of the water above the minimum film-forming temperature leaves a clear, colourless film whith low inner strength, which is very soft and extremely tacky at room temperature. To be particularly emphasised is its hydrophobic character. The film is insoluble in water and partly soluble in organic solvents. PLEXTOL D 224 can be used to produce self-adherent coatings on a variety of materials such as plastic sheeting, paper, textiles, sheet metal, glass. Aqueous emulsion of a thermoplastic acrylic polymer. Used as a tackifier with hydrophobic character in adhesives. Gives a clear, colourless, soft and tacky film insoluble in water and partly soluble in organic solvents.
