Although it is not necessary to add sulphur, this slightly improves the degree of crosslinking. The scorch time of compounds containing Rhenocure CRV/LG is affected by the type of filler used. Scorch can be delayed by increasing the amount of MgO used or by adding bases. It can be activated with thiurams or dithiocarbamates. The vulcanizates have good stress/strain values, good ageing resistance and favourable compression characteristics. Injection-moulded and extruded technical articles, hose, seals, roller coverings, cable sheathing and insulation, V-belting and rubber boots windscreen wipers based on CR. 3-Methyl-thiazolidine-thione-2. Used as an accelerator for chloroprene rubber in injection-moulded and extruded technical seals. Provides high degree of crosslinking in a short space of time. Can be activated with thiurams or dithiocarbamates. Offers good stress/strain values, good ageing resistance and favourable compression characteristics.
