It protects effectively and for a long time against influences of oxygen, heat and dynamic fatigue action. It provides also good protection against rubber poisons. The vulcanizates are being coloured by light influence just very slightly, therefore it is possible to use it in light compounds. It does not cause contact colouring. Rhenofit CDA does not bloom even at a high dosage. It does not influence the basic physico-mechanical properties of vulcanizates. Its volatility is very low. Antidegradation effectiveness can be significantly increased in combination with imidazoles, phenols or phosphates (heat and thermoxidative resistance), or p-pheylendiamines (ozone resistance). Rhenofit CDA is also applicable of as stabiliser for plastics lubricants, oil and other substrates. Rhenofit CDA is used in conjunctions with p-phenylene diamines for heavily stressed technical goods and tyres. The technical gods are i. g. roll covers, buffers, conveyor and transmitting belting, hose, profiles and seals. It is also suitable for footwear soles and heels.
