These elastomers offer compounds with very good storage stability, high processing safety and a high rate of crosslinking. The accelerators and crosslinking agents, which normally have to be added separately, are already incorporated in these special polymers. The crosslinking chemicals must be activated during processing, e.g. by means of Rhenofit CF and a finely divided magnesium oxide, such as Rhenofit 2120. normally 6 phr Rhenofit CF in combination with 3 phr magnesium oxide technical rubber articles, such as seals of all kinds which have to withstand extremely high temperatures. Specially treated, finely divided calcium hydroxide. Used as a crosslinking activator for fluoro-elastomers in technical rubber seals. Provides optimal compression set at higher temperatures, very good storage stability, high processing safety and high rate of crosslinking. Use level: 6 phr in combination with 3 phr magnesium oxide.
