Therefore, the degree of polymer crosslinking may be considerably increased from that normally obtained by greater additions of peroxide. Generally coagents increase the rate of cross- inking. The vulcanizates show partly increased hardness, higher moduli, outstanding resilience and good abrasion resistance. Storage stability and processing safety of compounds will be to some degree limited by the presence of Rhenofit EDMA/S. Rhenofit EDMA/S is particularly suitable for heavily loaded light and dark EPDM compounds as well as for CM compounds filled with mineral fillers or carbon black. 1 - 3 phr technical moulded and extruded articles based on EPDM, EPM, NBR, CM etc., e.g. seals, bushings, cables, profiles Blend of ethylene glycol dimethacrylate and silica.
