Rhenogran P91-40/NBR Aramid fibre pulp Rhein Chemie Fibers >> Aramid Rubber - Elastomer (Chloroprene, Butyl …) SEALANT Rhenogran® P91-40/NBR Predispersed aramid chopped fibre pulp for reinforcing natural, synthetic and thermoplastic rubber compounds 40% aramid fibre pulp (Type: Twaron® 1091)* 60% NBR binder and dispersing agents Rhenogran P91-40/NBR is made of aramid fibre pulp (type: Twaron®) which is predispersed in a polymeric binder. Rhenogran P91-40/NBR is used as a high-grade reinforcing material for sulphur- and peroxide-cured rubber compounds and in thermoplastic rubbers, preferably based on NBR. Depending on the amount added (usually 4-20 phr), using Rhenogran P91-40/NBR enhances important technical rubber properties: the dimensional stability and green strength of the uncured compound. The vulcanizing rate is usually not affected. Various physical properties of vulcanized rubber compounds, such as elasticity modulus, modulus at low strain, compression resistance, flexural strength, hardness, abrasion, t ear propagation resistance, penetration resistance, shrinkage and creep resistance, are also significantly improved, sometimes many times over. Usually 2-20 phr Moulded and extruded articles, hose, V-belts, seals, conveyor belting, rollers, roofing membranes, etc. based on NBR; Rhenogran P91-40/NBR may also be used in other elastomers.
