In conjunction with a formaldehyde donor (e.g. Rhenogran HEXA-80 or Cohedur® A) the resorcinol-formaldehyde- resin, responsible for the bonding of rubber to textile and steelcords, is formed during the curing process. This system is suitable for bonding all types of rubber to reinforcing materials, e.g. fabrics, glass fibres and metals (e.g. steel-cords). 3 - 4 phr tyres, conveyor belts, V-belts, round belts, fire hose, other reinforced hoses, flexible containers, fabric proofings Blend of resorcinol, EPDM/EVA binder and dispersing agents.
