Rhenogran TAC-50 Triallyl cyanurate Rhein Chemie Catalysts / Accelerators / Vulcanizing agents Rubber - Elastomer (Chloroprene, Butyl …) SEALANT Rhenogran® TAC-50 Activator for the peroxide vulcanization of synthetic rubbers. 50% triallyl cyanurate (techn.) 50% elastomer binder, dispersing agents and silica Polymer radicals being formed during peroxide vulcanization react with the allyl groups of the coagent Rhenogran TAC-50, thus providing additional reactive sites for crosslinking. Generally the rate of crosslinking can be considerably improved bby the addition of a coagent. The vulcanizates partly show increased hardness, higher modulus, outstnding resilience and good abrasion resistance. The storage stability and processing safety of compounds are not remarkably influenced by the presence of Rhenogran TAC-50. 0.5 - 4.0 phr, depending on the used peroxide and its dosage. Technical moulded and extruded articles based on EPDM, EPM, NBR, CM etc., e.g. seals, sleeves, cables, profiles. Blend of triallyl cyanurate, elastomer binder, dispersing agents and silica. Used as an activator for peroxide vulcanization of synthetic rubbers, technical moulded and extruded seals based on EPDM, EPM, NBR, CM. Can be used in combination with a coagent to improve rate of crosslinking. Provides increased hardness, higher modulus, outstanding resilience and good abrasion resistance. Use level: 0.5-4 phr.
