Rhenosin A Phenol formaldehyde resin Rhein Chemie Aminoplaste / Phenoplaste (UF, MUF) >> Phenol Formaldehyde SEALANT Rhenosin® resins bring about specific imrovements in compounding, processing and vulcanisate properties. They: Improve the tack of green compounds Promote filler incorporation Enhance consistency Reduce compound viscosity Improve compound homogenity Enable high Shore hardnesses to be obtained Enhance the physical properties of vulcanizates, e.g. by improving the wet skid properties of tyres Rhenosin® A Reinforcing resin for solid rubbers Phenol formaldehyde resin with hardening agent (hexamethylene tetramine) Rhenosin A has a reinforcing effect in NR, SBR, BR, NBR and EPDM, i.e. the deformation characteristics such as shore hardness and modulus are significantly improved. Under vulcanization conditions, the reinforcing resin reacts with the integrated hardener to form an independent interpenetrating network. Shore hardnesses of 90 and more can thus be achieved. Rhenosin A is particularly suitable for use in NBR (friction linings). Scorch time is reduced by Rhenosin A, which prolongs cure time. 5 - 15 phr For hard and very hard technical compounds, suitable for brake linings, oil- resistant seals, heels, soling sheets, solid hose material, typewriter and paper rollers. Phenol formaldehyde resin with hexamethylene tetramine as a hardening agent. Used as a reinforcing resin fin solid rubbers for oil- resistant seals. Offers compatibility with NR, SBR, BR, NBR and EPDM. Improves shore hardness and modulus. Reduces scorch time. Enhances cure time. Use level: 5-15 phr.
