They: Improve the tack of green compounds Promote filler incorporation Enhance consistency Reduce compound viscosity Improve compound homogenity Enable high Shore hardnesses to be obtained Enhance the physical properties of vulcanizates, e.g. by improving the wet skid properties of tyres Rhenosin® P 9447 K Tackifying resin for solid rubbers and adhesive solutions Condensation product of alkylated phenols with formaldehyde Rhenosin P 9447 K increases the tack of uncured rubber mixes, especially those based on diene rubbers for the tyre industry. Rhenosin P 9447 K should be used whenever compounds with maximum inherent tack are required, e.g. in the assembly of tyres, re- treads, conveyor belts, rubber dinghies, etc.. Rhenosin P 9447 K does not affect vulcanization. Compounds containing Rhenosin P 9447 K have a long shelf life. The tack of green compounds containing Rhenosin P 9447 K can be maintained for several weeks under suitable storage conditions. 2 - 8 phr Truck and car tyres, tyre re-treads, conveyor belts, technical manufactured articles such as membranes, textile structures, rubber dinghies, etc..
