They: Improve the tack of green compounds Promote filler incorporation Enhance consistency Reduce compound viscosity Improve compound homogenity Enable high Shore hardnesses to be obtained Enhance the physical properties of vulcanizates, e.g. by improving the wet skid properties of tyres Rhenosin® TT 30 Dispersing and tackifying resin for solid rubbers and bonding solutions; aromatic extract substitute for diene rubber compounds Petro-derived hydrocarbon resin; polymerisate of unsaturated aromatic C9/C10 hydrocarbons Rhenosin TT 30 improves the tack of green diene rubber mixes based on NR, SBR and BR. Rhenosin TT 30 has no effect on the vulcanization characteristics of the diene rubber mix. In combination with hydrocarbon resins, which have a higher softening point (e.g. Rhenosin TT 100), physical properties such as modulus,tensile strength, elongation at break and compression set, and dynamic properties such as non-skid properties and high speed characteristics can be improved. In combination with naphtenic plasticizers,Rhenosin TT 30 can be used as a substitute for aromatic plasticizers. Using Rhenosin TT 30 in combination with naphtenic plasticizers as a substitute for aromatic compounds does not diminish the physical properties of the finished article. 1 - 10 phr Truck tyres, passenger car tyres, tyres for industrial and agricultural applications, tyre retreads, conveyor belts, V-belting, bonding solutions for technical articles Petro-derived hydrocarbon resin.
