Rhenosin VU 90 Di-2-ethylhexyl-thio-di-glycolate Rhein Chemie Plasticizers Chloroprene Rubber (CR) Rubber - Elastomer (Chloroprene, Butyl …) SEALANT Rhenosin® resins bring about specific imrovements in compounding, processing and vulcanisate properties. They: Improve the tack of green compounds Promote filler incorporation Enhance consistency Reduce compound viscosity Improve compound homogenity Enable high Shore hardnesses to be obtained Enhance the physical properties of vulcanizates, e.g. by improving the wet skid properties of tyres Rhenosin® VU 90 Plasticizer specially designed to improve the low temperature flexibility of NBR and CR vulcanizates di-2-ethylhexyl-thio-di-glycolate Rhenosin VU 90 gives the vulcanizates particularly good low-temperature flexibility and, at the same time, relatively good heat stability. As a primary plasticizer, Rhenosin VU 90 has excellent compatibility with all polymers, especially such synthetic rubbers as NBR and CR. In addition to exerting a plasticizing effect this product greatly increases the rebound resilience of the vulcanizates; it may therefore be termed an lasticatoralso. Rhenosin VU 90 has little influence on the tendency of rubber goods to swell. Rhenosin VU 90 increases the building tack of the compound.Rhenosin VU 90 delays the scorch very slightly; it does not affect the rate of vulcanization. 5 to 40 parts by weight Technical rubber goods based on synthtic or natural rubber, e.g. hoses, seals, buffers, elastic automotive components and similar technical goods, roll covers, and conveyor belting. Di-2-ethylhexyl-thio-di-glycolate. Used as a plasticizer for rubber in technical seals based on synthetic or natural rubber. Improves low temperature flexibility of NBR and CR vulcanizates. Offers good heat stability and very good compatibility with all polymers. Increases rebound resilience and building tack. Use level: 5-40 parts by weight.
