Rhodoline 685 Rhodia Defoamers / Anti-Foaming Agents Polyvinyl acetate emulsions & derivatives (PVAc…) Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVOH) Ethylene copolymers - emulsions (VAE, EVC…) ADHESIVE >> Water-based RHODOLINE ® 685 is a water-dispersible antifoam which is extremely effective in systems containing synthetic binders and suspending agents. It is exceptionally versatile in stripping and handling suspension, dispersion, and emulsion polymerization systems. Provides effectiveness over an extended period of time Promotes rapid bubble-break 100% active Readily emulsifiable RHODOLINE ® 685 is recommended as an antifoam agent in adhesives containing polyvinyl acetate, partially hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol or vinyl acetate/ethylene emulsion as the adhesive base. Because of the effectiveness of RHODOLINE ® 685, only small amounts are required to defoam an adhesive formulation. Normally 0.1 to 0.2% is all that is necessary, based on the finished formulation. Readily emulsifiable, 100% active, water-dispersible antifoam. Used in adhesives containing polyvinyl acetate, partially hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol or vinyl acetate/ethylene emulsion as the adhesive base. Offers very good efficiency in systems containing synthetic binders and suspending agents, and high versatility in stripping and handling suspension, dispersion, and emulsion polymerization systems. Provides effectiveness over an extended period of time, and rapid bubble-break. Use level: 0.1-0.2%.
