Alnovol resins are supplied as 100% solids (pellets or powders) or as liquid. Non self-curing resins crosslink with hardeners e.g. Hexamethylenetetramine or Hexamethoxymethylmelamine (Resimene hardeners). Alnovol resins are used in reinforcing compounds, adhesion compounds for the rubber/tire-industry, for friction materials/ brake linings, photoresists. Hardened resins increase hardness and modulus in rubber vulcanizates. Non self-curing, phenolic resin of the Novolak type.
