Daotan VTW 1235 is especially suited for plastic coatings because of its broad adhesion range and high degree of flexibility. White Liquid supplied at 36 % in water / N-Methylpyrrolidon (36 WANMP) Daotan VTW 1235 is a polyurethane dispersion with shear stability that cures at room temperature giving clear impact resistant films especially at low temperatures. This allows Daotan VTW 1235 to be used to formulate highly flexible coating systems, especially for coating plastics. Such systems exhibit very good adhesive properties e.g. to polycarbonate, ABS, PUR-RIM, as well as untreated PP/EPDM. The adhesion to each plastic substrate requires individual investigation. In addition Daotan VTW 1235 can be used together with other compatible binders (e.g. acrylic dispersions) to improve their flexibility, adhesion and durability.
