Emultex 596 shows excellent adhesion to a range of low energy surfaces. It shows very good high temperature and plasticiser resistance and has proves particulally suitable for the adhesion of PVC foils, to chip board, hard board and ply wood. It can also be crosslinked by the addition of about 1% of ammonium chloride or ammoniun nitrate to improve water and solvent resistance. High viscosity, polyvinyl alcohol stabilised, vinyl acetate / butyl acrylate copolymer emulsion. Shows very good adhesion to a range of low energy surfaces, PVC foils, chip board, hard board and ply wood. Provides very good high temperature and plasticiser resistance.
