Synthomer 40A60 Anionic carboxylated styrene-butadiene copolymer latex Synthomer Styrene copolymer >> Styrene butadiene rubber, SBR ADHESIVE Synthomer 40A60 Synthomer 40A60 is an anionic, carboxylated styrene-butadiene copolymer latex SYNTHOMER 40A60 has especially been developed as a basis for adhesives for the production of composite materials with metals. Above its minimum film formation temperature of approx. 20 C the dispersion dries up to a transparent, odourless, compact film. This polymer has good adhesion to metallic surfaces. SYNTHOMER 40A60 is used in many applications where a high adhesion to metallic surfaces is required, It can be applied as a lining adhesive for the lamination of paper to aluminium foil, either alone or in combination with ca-sein, and also as a binder for paints for the coating of metals like steel, aluminium, zinc. The polymer has also good adhesion to polar plastic surfaces. The dispersion is compatible with most fillers and pigments. Anionic, carboxylated styrene-butadiene copolymer latex. Used as a basis for adhesives for the production of composite materials with metals. Provides transparent, odourless and compact film, good adhesion to metallic surfaces and to polar plastic surfaces and compatibility with most fillers and pigments. Can be applied as a lining adhesive for the lamination of paper to aluminium foil, alone and in combination with casein.
