Liopur 95-019 Polyurethane Synthopol PU - Polyurethane dispersions (PUDs) >> Polyether PU ADHESIVE AUTOMOTIVE Water Soluble in organic solvent (n-methyl-2-pyrrolidone) In the area of dispersions for adhesives, research at Synthopol Chemie concentrates on water-based polyurethane and pure acrylic dispersions. These are used as binders in one- and two-pack formulations in the automotive sector and in industry in general. Liopur 95-019 dries in air to form a transparent film with slight surface tack. Because of the film’s flexibility and resistance to hydrolysis, Liopur 95-019 is especially recommended for making contact adhesives with good peel strength, used to laminate a wide range of materials. Joining temperatures should be between 15 and 50°C and adherent surfaces should be pressed together at >0.5 bar. Optimum conditions should be ascertained by individual tests. The good heat resistance can be increased still further by adding suitable water-emulsifiable polyisocyanates. Storage: The shelf life at 23°C is at least six months. The product is not classified as a hazardous substance and therefore requires no special labels. Polyurethane dispersion. Suitable for cold lamination adhesives and as binder in one- and two-pack formulations for automotive sector and industry. Possesses slight surface tack, good peel strength and produces transparent film.
