The product is VOC-free, has greater water solubility (placing preservative in the water phase where it is needed), and is a low viscosity water solution that is convenient to handle year-round. Unlike conventional BIT solutions, Mergal K10N does not require water dilution, is more compatible with latex polymers, and may be added directly to latex emulsions. Mergal K10N meets the requirements of U.S. FDA CFR 21 Sections 175.105, 176.170, 176.180, 176.300, and 177.2600 and is recommended for use in waterborne adhesives, pigment slurries, sealants, and polymer emulsions. VOC-free, low viscosity water solution bactericide. Used in waterborne adhesives and sealants. Offers good compatibility with latex polymers.
