Applications include one and two part room temperature vulcanizable silicone compositions (RTV addition cure systems). These are utilized sealants. Cure time is reduced from hours to minutes in RTV systems due to the solubility of these catalysts in dimethylsiloxane polymers. For hydrosilyation reactions or two part RTV systems, it is recommended that UCT's platinum catalysts be utilized at 2-50 ppm range platinum metal based on total formulation weight. Lower reactivity, for heigh temperature (>100 C) extruded silicone formulations. Platinum vinyl siloxane with low reactivity. Used as catalyst for promoting hydrosilylation reactions in one and two part room temperature vulcanizable silicone sealants. Useful for heigh temperature (>100 C) extruded silicone formulations.
