Polyester. Admex 314 is a medium-to-high molecular weight polymeric plasticizer showing good compatibility with the more polar resins. In PVA films, Admex 314 shows good resistance to migration and volatility, and resists fats and oils. In emulsion systems, it exhibits good viscosity stability and wet tack. Admex 314 is used in Adhesives (emulsion, solvent or hot melt), Sealants. COMPATIBILITIES Admex 314 is readily incorporated into resin emulsion systems by mechanical stirring. It shows good compatibility with PVA, nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate and nylon. However, it is incompatible with PVC, vinyl chloride copolymers, natural and synthetic rubber, shellac, casein and ethyl cellulose. Medium-to-high molecular weight polymeric polyester plasticizer showing good compatibility with the more polar resins. Can be used in adhesives and sealants. Shows good resistance to migration and volatility, and resists fats and oils in PVA films. Exhibits good viscosity stability and wet tack in emulsion systems.
