Admex 315 Polyester Velsicol Plasticizers >> Adipate SEALANT Admex 320 is a medium molecular weight polymeric plasticizer combining excellent stability and permanence with low volatility. Admex 320 combines good permanence with ease of processing. It is far superior to monomeric plasticizers in resistance to extraction by oils and hydrocarbons. The low volatility and stability of Admex 320 is shown by retention of properties after prolonged heat aging. Also shows much lower migration into rubber, enamels and lacquer than di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate. Suggested uses: Vinyl film and sheet requiring low volatility, low migration, good hydrocarbon extraction resistance and easy processing. Plastisols where permanence is needed. Pigment grinding medium where the viscosity and wetting properties of Admex 320 give good results. SOLUBILITIES In water < 0.1% Admex 320 is soluble in esters, ketones and in aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbon solvents. Is insoluble in ethanol, hexane and water. COMPATIBILITIES Admex 320 shows good compatibility with PVC and PVC-PVA copolymers, nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate butyrate and propionate, and chlorinated rubber. However, it shows limited compatibility with PVA, ethyl cellulose and nitrile rubber. Medium molecular weight polymeric plasticizer with good permanence and stability. Can be used in flexible PVC - sealants. Resists to extraction by oils and hydrocarbons. Low migration into rubber, enamels and lacquer.
